Terms of Service
Who we are
MAS Review is in closed beta. During the beta it is operated by Mohammad Ali Shakeri in a personal capacity. It is not offered for sale: no fees are charged and no payment can be taken.
If MAS Review is transferred to a company, that company will become the operator. We will tell you by email before that happens, and the updated terms will give the company’s name, registered number and registered address. In these terms “we”, “us” and “the operator” mean Mohammad Ali Shakeri until then, and the company after. “You” means the person or the studio using MAS Review.
MAS Review lives at https://mas-review.com. By using it you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
The service
MAS Review is a tool for reviewing work with your team: video, images, audio, PDFs, documents and 3D models, with frame-accurate comments, drawings, live sessions and share links. It also offers generation features such as generated images, automatic captions, subtitles, translation and re-voicing with a fixed set of stock voices.
MAS Review is in closed beta. Access is by invitation or by request through the contact form. We may decline or delay a request.
Accounts use a sign-in code sent to your email address. There are no passwords.
Your account
Give us an email address you control and keep it accurate. Your sign-in code is for you alone: do not share it. Anyone who can read your email can sign in as you, so look after your inbox.
In MAS Review a studio is a workspace with members, projects and a plan. Each studio has one owner, who is responsible for billing, and members with the roles admin, manager or user. If you invite someone into your studio or a project, you are responsible for what they do there. If you create a share link, you are responsible for who receives it.
People who open a share link are reviewers, not members. They give a display name and, if the link asks for it, an email address. These terms apply to them too.
Your content
You own what you upload and what you write in MAS Review. We claim no rights in it beyond the licence below.
So that the service can work, you grant us a licence to store, copy, transcode, convert, display, index and share your content as you direct. This includes the data derived from it: thumbnails, display copies, video renditions, transcripts, subtitles, translations, automatic captions and tags, text recognised in frames, colour palettes, generated images and re-voiced audio. The licence lasts as long as the content is in the service and ends when you delete it, subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.
You must have the rights you need to upload your content and to use the features you apply to it.
We may remove content, or refuse to process it, if it breaks these terms or the law. Generation requests that a provider refuses are shown to you as errors.
MAS Review is a review tool, not an archive. Keep your own copies of your masters.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload or share content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- use the service to harass, deceive or harm anyone;
- share your sign-in code, or sign in as someone else;
- probe, overload or interfere with the service, or bypass its limits, rate limits or access controls;
- access the service by automated means other than the device credentials the service issues for camera-to-cloud uploads;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the service.
Each plan has usage limits: seats, active projects, storage, file size, monthly conversions, encode minutes and Generation credits. Respect them. We may pause an account that keeps running past them.
Plans, billing and Generation credits
There are two plans, Free and Pro. What each includes is on the pricing page. Pro is priced per seat: $15 a month billed annually, or $18 month to month. Prices are in US dollars.
While MAS Review is in closed beta, nothing is on sale and no payment can be taken. The plans are shown for reference, and checkout runs in test mode. Paid plans will open only when a registered company operates MAS Review. The rest of this section describes how billing will work from then.
Billing runs through Stripe, which handles card details. The amount and the billing interval are shown before you confirm at checkout.
You can cancel a Pro subscription at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the studio then moves to the Free plan and its limits. If a payment fails, the studio stays on Pro while Stripe retries; if the retries fail, the studio moves to Free.
Generation credits are the one allowance behind generation features (Generate, Subtitles, Translate, Re-voice, Palette and Visual search). Each plan includes a monthly allowance, which resets every month. Credits are consumed each time a generation runs. Pro studios can buy top-up packs, which are drawn after the monthly allowance and do not expire while the subscription is active. Reviewers on a share link can use up to 50 credits per link each month, charged to the host studio.
If we change prices, the new price applies from your next renewal after we tell you.
Availability and changes
MAS Review is in closed beta. We may add, change or remove features, and we may change or discontinue the service. We try to give notice before a change that affects your work, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Termination
You can stop using MAS Review at any time. To delete your account, ask us through the contact form. If you own a studio, transfer it to another member or delete it first. What deletion removes is described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the service. Where we can, we tell you first.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
MAS Review is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Generated results, transcripts and captions can be wrong; check them before you rely on them.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change matters to you, we tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Using MAS Review after that date means you accept the updated terms.
Contact
Questions about these terms go through the contact form at https://mas-review.com/contact. We reply by email.
